Arenas

We have arenas available in any shape or dimension you may need.  Panels can be custom made to fit a specific area or regulation dimension.  All our arenas are made from either 1 5/8" or 1 7/8" galvanized pipe.  Normally a light rail spacing is used such as 3 or 4 rail, but heavier panels can be installed for cattle.  Anchor posts will be necessary for any straight line of panels longer than 24'.  Arcs in oval arenas and round pens, as well as corners, normally do not need anchor posts.  Posts can be concreted every 24', or in heavier-duty applications closer together.  For example, a roping arena may have 5 rail panels concreted every 12'.  For some horses, a heavier-duty arena may be needed if it is also going to be used as a turn-out.  All Billet anchor posts are constructed from heavier full weight (sch 40) pipe to reduce the flex in the fence line.  To further reduce the flex in the arena, more and bigger anchor posts are available.  Three panels clamps are provided at connections for additional strength. Arenas have at least one 6' wide arched gate.  It is not unusual to have a 12' gate for a tractor.  It is also quite easy to unclamp a panel to access the arena with a tractor, so drive gates are not required. Site preparation is important before installing an arena.  A flat and level area to install the arena will make a much better and functional finished product.  Billet can install the arena if you are within our normal service area.  Our installation quote will assume good truck access and normal digging conditions.
Serving California’s L.A., Ventura, and Kern counties, and the immediately surrounding areas.
